1st Map - CTF Hydrosis

This was always going to be a toughy... perhaps the most even ctf map in the game, and it showed right from the start. Both teams rushed in well and fast, with VBD taking an early flag capture. RNX stormed back immediately, and took one back. Fierce sniping and intence rocket battles took place in the midfield, with both teams making grabs for the flags. VBD struck next, making the score 2-1. Once again, RNX capped a flag within a minute or two, making the score 2-2 with about 3minutes ago. RNX had VBD's flag in our base, and just as we were about to cap it, they stole our one from under our noses. We managed to keep the flag at our base, and I was the lone person left in their base.... good communications told me what side they were comming in, and i took the flag guy out as he came into the door - returning it, allowing our flag guy to cap it with a minute to go. We managed to hold on until the time ran out. It was an intence game as they go....

2ND Map - VCTF Necropolis

This being a very tactical map, we had our plan and it worked a treat. The darkwalker being pivotal ( if used correctly) proved to be the difference. We took control of it, and held our ground throuhout - VBD not being able to counter it, and the round was fairly one sided.

3rd Map - VCTF Suspence

Before this round, neither team thought it would take as long as it did.... RNX took another quick flag at the start, to which VBD replied fairly soon after. Then, a stalemate took place, with a mixture of really strong defence from VBD, and some mediocre play from RNX. We tried to attack, but could find no way of getting past. Lots of sniping/rockets/ manta play took place, with netither team being able to break the deadlock. Into overtime the game went.... and continued for a good 30minutes. Suddenly, aware of the newly found Raptor airlift technique, Jimini and his co-pilot snatched our flag and made it back to their base to take the winning flag.

Another great match, with a solid Defence by VBD, and frustration from RNX, prooving pivotal

4th Map - TDM Deck

After loosing the previous round, I was fired up and ready for this map ( even though I hate it). Both teams started well, with the scores even around 30-25 to RNX. I was off to a flyer, and managed to get things going. We quickly started to build up a very good lead which stretched out for the game. Lots of nicee flaks and some nice rockets took us to an unstoppable lead, and the game finished..

Was a very enjoyable clan war, with the two ctf maps fought out to within every inch of their lifes. Very well played to all VBD, who put up a brave and galent effort. Shouts outs to mits and Jimni for good scores in the TDM/Susspense respectivly, and Payne for Hyrdosis and Necropolis.... Not to mention me for the TDM . Proud of all the RNX boys though, showed true character and teamwork ftw.
